The College Head - Mrs. Justina Eberechukwu

Our College Head is Mrs. Justina Eberechukwu. Mrs. Eberechukwu was born at Zuma Memorial Hospital, Edo State but is resident of Abia State. Married with two kids, she has travelled, studied and worked extensively within Nigeria. She is fluent in English, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo – thereby giving her the ability and skill to communicate in the four major languages of the Republic.

Education and Career

Mrs. Eberechukwu is an experienced educator who has spent her entire adult life working in the education sector. She obtained her First School Leaving Certificate in 1981 and completed her secondary school education in 1987 at Mercy Girls Secondary School Okigwe with multiple distinctions.

In 1996, she graduated in BA. Linguistics from the University of Abia State, Uturu. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from National Teachers Institute, Kaduna State. In 2002  she obtained her Master’s Degree in Development Studies.  After this,  she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Studies from Ado Bayero University, Kano in 2004. Her passion for education compelled her to do further formal studies in education and in 2014 she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from National Teachers’ Institute Kaduna. 

Mrs Eberechukwu has worked at diverse schools fulfilling different roles.

  • Bayero University – Research fellow/Development Officer
  • Ahmadiyya Muslim Senior Secondary School, Kano State – HOD and Class Teacher
  • Marist Comprehensive College, Ezeagu Ebonyi state – Educator
  • Mbaugwu Community Secondary School, Uturu Abia State – Educator
  • Kids Care International School, Tudun Nasarawa State – Educator
  • Steady Steps School, Kurudu Baracks FCT Abuja – Educator
  • Natioal Teachers Insitute Kaduna – Educator
  • Redeemer’s Private School, Living Spring Kano.

Mrs. Eberechukwu has been to different parts of the country. Born of Igbo parents, in Yoruba Land, and having worked extensively in the North, East, West and Southern Nigerian, there is no better-suited person to live up to our vision of diversity and transformation than Mrs Eberechukwu..

Motivations and Passions

Mrs Eberechukwu’s passion is education. She has played a pivotal role in the lives of many Nigerians through her work as a teacher. She is motivated by the advancement of knowledge people receive through formal education.

Personal Time

Our College head is a people oriented person who spends her personal time travelling, meeting new people and reading. She is a devoted Catholic and spends her spare time in community work.
